Meet Our Practice Managers
Our practice managers are the backbone of our veterinary team, the ones who keep the ball rolling and ensure that all of our operations are running smoothly. They keep us motivated and organized, and are always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed. We wouldn’t be the same veterinary practice without them!
Meet Our Receptionists
West Ashley Veterinary Clinic is staffed with an experienced team of full- and part-time receptionists. These friendly faces are usually the first people you’ll meet when you come to our practice. In addition to answering calls, they schedule appointments, manage medication refills, make follow-up and reminder calls, and provide client education. They also serve as an important link between our clients and veterinarians, as they can relay questions and information in a timely, efficient manner. Our receptionists have many behind-the-scenes responsibilities and are a vital part of our team.
Meet Our Technicians
Our nursing team consists of 10 veterinary technicians and includes 7 certified and/or licensed technicians. You will find these technicians assisting the veterinarians in the exam rooms, but they do a great deal more than that. Technicians provide comprehensive nursing care to hospitalized patients; obtain blood, urine, and other samples for laboratory testing; and perform diagnostic procedures. These include X-rays and microscopic exams of skin, ear, and fecal samples. Our technicians also regulate anesthesia during surgical procedures and are responsible for monitoring surgical patients from induction of anesthesia to recovery. With their many responsibilities at our clinic, they are an essential part of our daily operation.
